exec-appointments has come top for seniority, experience, qualifications and salary in the latest National Online Recruitment Audience Survey (NORAS).

The poll of 25 leading job boards shows exec-appointments soaring ahead with its best-ever results. It had the highest:

• average salary up to £83.7k (2007: £77.7k)
• social grade: 94% AB (2007: 88%); A11%
• seniority of roles: CEO/Director 40% (2007: 34%); CEO/Dir/Snr Mgr 71% (63%)
• most experienced candidates: 22.1 years' work experience
• qualified: 71% degree or professional qualifications.
